Summary: On 3 Sept., EIA of Weifang Xinlu's 4,000t/a diquat TC project was released for the first time.

On 3 Sept., the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of Weifang Xinlu Chemical Co., Ltd. (Weifang Xinlu)'s 4,000 t/a diquat TC project was launched for the first time.

Project overview:

• Project name: 4,000 t/a Diquat TC Project — Weifang Xinlu Chemical Co., Ltd.
• Construction unit: Weifang Xinlu
• Location: The existing plants at Weifang Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province
• Main construction content: New production line of 4,000 t/a Diquat TC in Weifang BInhai Chemincal industrial Park to be supported by the existing workshop equipment and public construction facilities, and Weifang Xinlu's investment of about USD22.55 million (RMB145.86 million).

 

Weifang Xinlu specializes in production and sales of pyridine series and other pesticide products, situated at Weifang Binhai Green Chemical Industrial Park, east of Lingang Road and south of West Second Street of Liaohe, Weifang Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province.

 

By now, the company's three project constructions at Weifang Binhai Green Chemical Industrial Park have completed:

• 24,000 t/a pyridine series project;
• 43,000 t/a pyridine chloride products project;
• 3,000 t/a diquat, 2,000 t/a fluroxypyr-methyl and 3,000 t/a haloxyfop-P high effective and low toxic pesticide TC project.

And the construction of 30,000 t/a pesticide and intermediate project (3,000 t/a 97% glufosinate-ammonium TC, 11,000 t/a 50% glufosinate-ammonium TK, 300 t/a topramezone TC and 7,000 t/a pesticide formulation) is still in progress.

 

Weifang Xinlu is wholly-owned by Shandong Luba Chemical Co., Ltd. (Shandong Luba). Meanwhile, it's worth mentioning that Shandong Luba's another wholly-owned subsidiary, Weifang Luba Chemical Co., Ltd. has developed 18,000 t/a pyridine series project and 6,000 t/a paraquat TC project at Weifang Binhai Green Chemical Industrial Park at Weifang Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone.
